How to Price Your First Digital Product Without Overthinking
Stop guessing and start pricing with confidence using a simple framework that accounts for value, effort, and market.
Pricing is the one thing that trips up most new creators. You either undervalue your work or price yourself out of the market. Here's a better way.
Start with the value your product delivers. If a template saves a client 10 hours of work at $50/hour, it's worth at least $500. Then consider the market: search for similar products and note the range. Finally, factor in your effort: if it took you 40 hours to create, you need to cover that time.
A good rule of thumb for your first product is $27-$47. It's low enough to attract buyers, high enough to feel valuable. You can always raise prices as you add testimonials and updates.
